The Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, through the Dental Council of India, recognized this institution. The College is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala and New Batches to kerala university of health sciences KUHS.

Having completed 52 years of excellence, Pushpagiri group of institutions has grown in reputation as one among the top medical and paramedical educational institutions in India. The first batch of students scored 100% result in the final year examination 2011. Varsha Jeyaprakash was awarded the first rank in the final year examination of MG University.
