Pushpagiri College of Dental Sciences
For two millennia, the Catholic Church has been dedicated to the ministry of healing worldwide. This same calling inspired the founding fathers of Pushpagiri in Tiruvalla, Kerala.
From Humble Beginnings to Healthcare Excellence
What began in 1959 as a modest eight-bed clinic serving rural maternity care has grown into a state-of-the-art, 678-bed super-specialty Medical College Hospital. Over more than half a century, Pushpagiri has advanced with a guiding vision: “We Care, God Cures” – a testament to our commitment to bearing one another’s burdens and our humble faith in divine providence as the source of all healing.
Educational Excellence
The Church’s steadfast commitment to value-based education first took root at Pushpagiri through nursing education, which began in 1964. Following the establishment of the Pushpagiri Medical Society in 1992, our journey of growth and innovation accelerated. A decade later, in 2002, we launched the Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, one of Kerala’s first private medical colleges.Since then, Pushpagiri has established premier institutions across multiple healthcare disciplines:College of Nursing (2002), College of Pharmacy (2004), College of Dental Sciences (2006), College of Allied Health Sciences (2008).
